Starching Lace

I'm hard at work putting things together for Benson First Friday Artist Market this Friday.
I was almost out of single roses, so I had to whip up a batch. I'm super glad that I've figured out the secret to starching tatted lace. It was difficult, as most instructions wouldn't work permanently or for jewelry. Spray starch didn't stick, it just flaked off.
I found that you need to iron FIRST, then soak in liquid starch, and allow to dry on tinfoil (to prevent sticking).
This makes sturdy but not crusty pieces. Perfect for necklaces.
Back to work, see you Friday!
