Working on a bit of a science project today. I recently became the grateful recipient of a pile of deer bones. While they were clean, they weren't specimen white (photo is a before photo). I did a google search and found that I could either be patient and put them in the sun, or soak them in hydrogen peroxide. Patience is for suckers, so I soaked them in peroxide. They're outside on the deck now, bleaching to perfection.
What could one possibly want with a collection of femurs, vertebrae, and a pelvis? (WHAT CAN'T YOU DO WITH THEM?) Seriously though, they're going to become tasteful home decor. HOW? you ask? Stay tuned. I'll keep you posted.
