Tiny Paintings

My New Year's Resolution was to tackle larger painting projects. Of course that would correspond with an overwhelming need to paint my smallest paintings to date.
There are larger projects in the works, but I NEEDED to get these out of my system first. The tiny skull is a baby possum. It may have been the most awesome white elephant gift ever. I was SO excited to bring it home.
I found the shell while organizing some old supplies. I KNEW there was a reason I bought those. I have a few more to paint. Painting on non-traditional surfaces is something that I really enjoy. Hopefully I can find some more, 'cause I'm on a roll.
